At 16:15 Station 21 was alerted to the upper part of Hallam Borough at 483 West Market
Street for a reported odor of raw gas outside. Attack 21 along with
other personnel responded non emergency by orders of Chief 21-1. Crews arrived
and met with Engine 41 and Rescue 41-1 crews and began checking the area
with the multi-gas meters. An area of significance was found and Columbia
Gas was requested. 21 crews remained on scene while 41 equipment went available.
After staying on scene an additional half hour, the scene was turned
over to Columbia Gas and the box placed available. |
