While York and Cumberland units were working a second alarm dormitory fire, Engine
21 was requested to stand by for Strinestown Community Fire Company at station
26-1 at 2012. The Engine made the trip and stood by until a crew was secured
for Engine 26-1. Engine 21 was released from standby at 2150 and returned
to Station 21. We would like to thank the members of Station 26 for
the hospitality during our stay.
